Dr Gavin Cull

Dr Gavin Cull is a clinical and laboratory haematologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and PathWest Laboratory Medicine. He holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor with the University of Western Australia where he provides teaching and mentoring roles. Following completion of advanced training in haematology, he undertook a research fellowship in the UK and completed his Doctor of Medicine thesis on immunotherapy through the University of Nottingham.

Dr Cull is a former secretary of the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand and active member of the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group. He strives to provide a high quality, patient-centred haematology service and oversees an active and expanding clinical trials unit which aims to improve access to new therapies for patients with haematological cancers. He has extensive experience in the management of lymphoproliferative disorders and a particular interest in the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia where he is principal investigator on a number of studies using novel drugs for this disease.
