Originally from Ireland, Dr Brennan graduated with First Class Honours in Medicine (MB, BCh, BAO) at University College Cork in 2018. Having completed an internship in Ireland, he relocated to Perth in 2019. Dr Brennan began Basic Physician Training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 2021 and has successfully passed the Divisional Written and Clinical Exams this year.
He has completed several terms of Clinical Haematology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, including a six-month role as a clinical trials registrar. Dr Brennan has accepted a position in the Joint Haematology Training Program in Melbourne next year at the Peter McCallum Cancer Centre. In addition to his interests in Haematology, he is passionate about teaching and has attained a postgraduate certificate in medical education.
